Where Would It BE?

Trendsettas, whats going on? Hope your one step closer to achieving those dreams. Today as I was in my second home, my 10 by 15 cubicle I was couldn't help by throw on my IPOD and listen to some tunes while I worked with Microsoft Excel pivot tables until I my eyes bled. Drake's latest track, Light Up has been on constant repeat but I decided to switch up my listening vibe. While I scrolled through my IPOD, I was dumb founded by the amount of classic tracks I have on my little MP3. As I listened to various tracks, I started thinking about some of the fallen legends who never made it to see the new millineum, but if they did, i wondered where Hip Hop would be. If greats such as BIG PUN, BIG L, Souljah Slim, EASY E, TUPAC, and Biggie, the face of Hip-Hop will look totally different. I definitely feel like the West would definitely be as powerful as it during the 90's, the Game would have still flourished and who knows what type of music would have be made if TUPAC was still alive. Tupac was the greatest lyricist to touch a mic and make you feel you like had to make a change in your life as well as go out there in this world and make a change. Im pretty sure NWA would have gotten over their differences and made a comeback to really let people know the Wild Wild West was still alive. Now The SOUTH would have still be relevant in the Hip-Hop. Luda, T.I, Nelly, and Jeezy have undeniable talent that would have surfaced regardless on who was alive or not. The South is where the east and west were in the 90's. focused on making music and not beefing with each other. NOW the East Coast would have changed the face of Hip-HOP if Big was still alive. BIGGIE is the greatest STORYTELLER I HAVE EVER HEARD. There is no Lyricist since he graced the mic that has the ability to make you feel as if youre a goon whose about to go in Rob some other drug dealers for their bricks and chips. Niggas Bleed, Warning, Suidicial Thoughts, and I Got a Story To Tell are absolute masterpieces. Niggas Bleed is a song that gives you the feeling on what it feels like not to give a fuck and go after a dude whose making more paper with no remorse. He made it so sound so effortless. You got the feeling like he was your homie and you and him were just chillin and he was telling you this crazy ass story about what he did. Only GOD knows what type of music that man would have made. Now I definitely think that Bad BOY would have been a legendary crew that would have left their mark in the game properly. Biggie was the glue that held them together. Bad Boy had everything. a solid R&B Group in 112. Arugably the best chick in the game in Lil Kim, a R&B queen in Faith Evans, a slick MC in Mase, a gully Rap trio in the LOX. They were stacked and if BIG was alive they probably would have went their separate ways but they would have left their mark. Now Jay, NAS and other MC's who we have grown to love for their style would have definitely been who they are and still would have become legends. BUT B.I.G would have changed the landscape. Now can you picture a Big and JAY track produced in like 2o06. Absolute fire!!!! I feel that Hip Hop has definitely evolved for the better with artists such as YE, Drake and Wayne because we're definitely getting a new sound to Hip HOP. But its just a crazy feeling I get in my stomach when I think about what HIP HOPwould have been if we didnt lose some of the pioneers along the years. They would have not only helped HIP HOP but added more to its rich history. we'll we can only imagine.

IM BACK!!!

Trendsettas, whats going on? I hope all of you have been blessed with good fortune and living out those dreams. We'll I been so occupied with so many things that I haven't been on here in a while. and I promise I will be bringing you at one post every week. Summer is upon us and its the best season of the year. Its the mid point of the year and it provides to you a chance to see if you have been living up to your resolutions that you made about 6 months ago. I have been following on some of my resolutions but I have a long ways to go. But i hope all of you are on your way to achieving and finding your inner peace. Use these next 6 months to find yourself and achieve your goals. We'll with that said Summer wouldnt be the best season without providing us good music to bump in our rides with the windows. It looks like the summer of 2010 will belong to DRAKE and KANYE!!! Thank me Later will and GOOD ASS JOB will be the biggest releases of the year. Drake's newest track with Jay-Z called "Light UP" embodies what HIP-HOP is all about. The beat and the HOOK are absolutely fire. Drake shows he can lyrically hang with one of the greatest ever. Jay proves why he is a LEGEND. He effortlessly bodies the the track and i felt like he did this in one take. Kanye's POWER is just a track with shows all of the public that hate him or love him he is a creative genius and will become a legend. SUMMER 2010 is going to be one to remember. Here are Light up and POWER for your listening pleasure. ENJOY!!!!

The Freeman Brothers are BACK!!!!

The controverisal show from Adult Swim has returned and its definitely a season worth watching. This will be the last season for the series so You know they will be going out with a BANG!! all off your favorite Characters are back, Huey, Riley, Granddad, Thugnificent, Tom, Jasmine and everyone's favorite Uncle Ruckus. That dude is crazy. LOL. The Season premieres on May 2nd at 10:30. Here's the trailer and what we can expect from the season.
